The Brampton Battalion is major junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League for players of the age 15-20. The team is based in Brampton, Ontario and started playing in 1998. Some of the most well known Battalion are: Raffi Torres, Wojtek Wolski, Phil Oreskovic, Matt Duchene and Cody Hodgson.

Troops Loose 2-1
Battalion go to 1-2-1 on the preseason after dropping there last home preseason game 2-1 against the Storm. Troops travel to Guelph on Sunday for there final game of the preseason on Sunday Sept. 19, 2010.

Spencer Abraham- Was around the puck all night, seems to have great chemistry with Domenic Alberga
Jordan Auld- Was playing well all night until he got a cheap shot to the head and left the game in the second
Dennis Saikkonen- Impresses me for the second game in a row, if he can work a little more on his rebound control, this kid is going to be a good goalie for this team.

Troops come up short
After falling behind the Gens 7-2 going into the 3rd period, the Troops could only score 3 goals in the 3rd to make the final score 7-5 for the Gens. The Battalion are now 1-1-1 this preseason. Next game is Thursday Sept 16, 2010 vs. the Storm at the Bunker at 7:00pm.
